Calculation Process of Soil Quantity for Plot Filling

Next, figure out how deep the soil needs to be. This will depend on the size of the plot and the type of soil you are using. For example, if the soil is for a garden, then it may need to be deeper than if it was for a pathway.
Once you have the area and the depth, it's time to calculate the quantity of soil. To do this, multiply the area by the depth. This will give you the volume of the plot in cubic feet.
Finally, you need to convert this to cubic yards. One cubic foot is equal to one third of a cubic yard. Therefore, divide the volume in cubic feet by three to get the volume in cubic yards. This is the quantity of soil you need for your plot.
Mathematical Calculation of Soil Quantity for Filling a Plot
Depending on the size of the space to be filled, different quantities will be required. In this example, we will take 100 feet for the plot length and 42 feet for the plot width. The plot area will be calculated using the following formula.
Length * Breadth = 100 * 42 = 4200 square feet.
Taking 6 feet 6 inches as the depth of filling, we get 6.5 feet after conversion.
As a result, Volume = 4200 * 6.5 = 27300 cubic feet.
Soil Quantity = 27300 cubic feet.

If you want to divide cubic feet to cubic meter, then divide it with 35.31 = 27300 / 35.31 = 773.15 cubic meter.
Assume a tractor trolley has a 40 foot carrying capacity.
Required Number of tractor trolley = 27300 / 40 = 682.5 = 683 approx.
Assume a Hyva has a 250 foot carrying capacity.
Required Number of Hyva = 27300 / 250 = 110 approx.
