Computing the Magnitude (Volume) for Concrete Stairs

Measurements are in millimetres (for soffit thickness, rise unit and run unit).

Compute standard stair breadth (depth)

Gradient (rise) entity (unit) = 173.9/2

Append it to throat width (thickness) = 173.9/2 + 200 = 286.95 = 287 mm = 0.287 m

Standard breadth or depth

Stair dimension (length) = √(0.1739)2 + (0.2920)2 = 0.340 x 11 (risers quantity) = 3.74 m

Computing stair magnitude (volume)

Volume = standard breadth (depth) x stair dimension (length) x stair width = 0.287 x 3.74 x 1.300 m = 1.395 m3

Compute uniform region at the top of staircase magnitude (volume)

Uniform region at the top of staircase dimension (length) = 1.892 m

1.892 – 1 gradient (rise) entity (unit) = 1.892 m – 0.292 m = 1.6 m

Uniform region at the top of staircase width = 0.270 m

Uniform region at the top of staircase magnitude (volume) = Uniform region at the top of staircase dimension (Length) x Uniform region at the top of staircase width x Stair width = 1.6 m x 0.270 m x 1.300 m = 0.562 m3

1.395 m3 + 0.562 m3 = 1.957 m3 = 2 m3 concrete.
