How to find out the volume of concrete volume of pile as well as three pile caps
The special video lesson is helpful in finding out in what way to find out the volume of concrete in circular pile with 3 caps.
Pile cap length is 3 meter and pile cap height of is 1 meter. Pile diameter is assumed as 600 mm. The radius is specified as 300 mm or 0.3 m (1/2 of diameter)
Pile height is given as 20 m. Quantity of pile are specified as 3
Pile concrete volume is calculated with the subsequent formula:
- πr2h (here, r indicates pile radius and h indicates pile height)
- Therefore, concrete volume = πr2h x 3 (since there are three numbers pile caps)
Subsequent to setting the value, the subsequent is obtained:
- 3.14 x (0.3)2 x 20 x 3 = 16.956 m3
- Then, it is needed to find out the volume of every pile cap.
In this respect, alter the form of the pile to square. Then, subtract the two triangle shape piles from square shape.
Then, take the square shape as A and the two triangle shapes as B.
Then, A Volume = Length x Breadth x Height
Subsequent to placing the value, the subsequent is obtained:
- A = 3 x 3 x 1 = 9 m3
Then, it is needed to find out the volume of the two triangles like subsequently:
- Therefore, B Volume = Area x Height
- B Volume = ½ x B x H x Thickness
- B Volume = ½ x 1 x 2 x 1 = 1 cubic meter
The volume is for 1 pile cap.
Therefore, pile cap volume = A – B – B = 9 - 1 – 1 = 7 m3
