Many famous highways stretch across vast expanses and are renowned for their scenic beauty. There are a number of them, covering several diverse landscapes, including mountains, plains, and forests, which can be spectacular from afar but can be dangerous to cross, while others, run through busy cities.

The construction of this highway began in 1956, but it was completed in 1985.
